Say it to PAL

“Show a value on the screen.”

The code PAL writes

p.setVariable('status', 'Online');
p.log('Display updated');

“Show how far away things are on the screen.”

The code PAL writes

p.onSensorChange('qwiic-vl53l1x', 'distance', (val) => {
  p.setVariable('distance_mm', Math.round(val));
});

When to pick it

Best when you need a square display for icons, gauges, or a compact UI — the 1:1 aspect ratio works well for circular gauges and grid layouts.
