Arduino Modulino Pixels
Eight individually addressable RGB LEDs. Create colorful displays, status indicators, or ambient lighting.
Say it to PAL
“Make all the lights red, as bright as they go.”
The code PAL writes
p.pixels.frame({ r: 255, g: 0, b: 0 });“Make all the lights white, at half brightness.”
The code PAL writes
p.pixels.frame('#ffffff', { brightness: 15 });When to pick it
8 RGB LEDs for visual status, alerts, ambient lighting, or animations.
Good to know
- Full brightness on all 8 LEDs draws significant current — can cause voltage drops in long Qwiic chains.
About it
The Arduino Modulino Pixels carries 8 addressable LC8822-2020 RGB LEDs (a clocked APA102/SK9822-class part, which is why the wire format is 4 bytes per LED and not the 3 of a WS2812). Each pixel can be set to any color independently, making it perfect for status displays, ambient lighting, or decorative effects.
