About it

The RFM95W Bonnet uses a Semtech SX1276 chip with +20 dBm output for up to 2 km range. It connects directly to the Pi's 40-pin GPIO header via SPI (CE1) — no breadboard or soldering. The bridge auto-detects the module by reading the SX1276 version register over SPI, configures frequency and encryption, and starts relaying sensor data. The bonnet also includes an OLED and buttons for status display (managed separately).
