Arduino Modulino Latch Relay
Latching relay that maintains state without continuous power. Ideal for energy-efficient switching applications.
Say it to PAL
“Switch the power on and off when I click the knob.”
The code PAL writes
p.onSensorChange('modulino-knob', 'button', (value) => {
if (value === 0) return;
p.write('modulino-latch-relay', 'toggle');
});
await p.waitUntilStopped();When to pick it
Latching relay that holds state without power — choose when power efficiency matters or relay must survive power loss without resetting.
Good to know
- Latching means it stays in its last position even after power loss. Add an explicit reset step in your script if you need it OFF on startup.
- No overcurrent protection — exceeding rated load permanently damages the relay.
About it
The Arduino Modulino Latch Relay uses a bistable/latching mechanism that maintains its state without continuous power consumption. Once switched, it stays in position until commanded to change, making it perfect for battery-powered applications and energy-efficient control systems.
