Arduino Modulino Vibro
Haptic feedback module with adjustable vibration intensity. Perfect for alerts, notifications, and tactile feedback.
Say it to PAL
“Vibrate when I press the button.”
The code PAL writes
p.onSensorChange('modulino-buttons', 'buttons', (value) => {
if (value === 0) return;
p.write('modulino-vibro', 'vibrate', { duration_ms: 200, power: 'MEDIUM' });
});
await p.waitUntilStopped();“Buzz twice when something needs my attention.”
The code PAL writes
p.write('modulino-vibro', 'vibrate', { duration_ms: 100, power: 'INTENSE' });
await p.sleep(200);
p.write('modulino-vibro', 'vibrate', { duration_ms: 100, power: 'INTENSE' });Good to know
- Draws significant current at higher power levels — may cause voltage dips in Qwiic chains.
- Continuous vibration shortens motor life — use short pulses or duty-cycled patterns.
- A buzz that confirms an input fires on every press. Protect the motor with SHORT pulses (100-300 ms), not with a cooldown: a buzz skipped because the last one was under a few seconds ago makes the button feel broken.
About it
The Arduino Modulino Vibro provides haptic feedback through a vibration motor with 7 power levels (STOP, GENTLE, MODERATE, MEDIUM, INTENSE, POWERFUL, MAXIMUM). Ideal for alert systems, notifications, accessibility features, and interactive projects requiring tactile feedback.
