About it
The Waveshare SX1262 HAT uses a Semtech SX1262 chip with +22 dBm output for up to 5 km range. It stacks on the Pi's 40-pin GPIO header and talks UART (GPIO14/15) through an on-board Ebyte E22 module, with mode pins M0 = GPIO22 and M1 = GPIO27 (jumper J1 in position B, the J2 mode jumpers removed, per Waveshare's wiki and schematic). The SX1262 itself is inside the E22 module and is not reachable over SPI. The SX1262 is the successor to the SX1276 with better power efficiency and longer range at the same TX power.
